EPF Mumbai Regional Office was set up in Bandra in 1952 as Head Quarter of undivided Maharashtra & Goa Region. In the year 2001, a separate office was created for Goa region.

Later, Mumbai regional office as also divided into 4 regions namely Mumbai - I, Mumbai-II, Nagpur & Pune region. Presently Regional Office at Bandra is the Head Quarter of Mumbai-I Region, but handles Human resource issues for the Maharashtra state.

The EPF Mumbai claim status can be viewed online by clicking on the official website of EPF Mumbai - http://www.epfindia.com/ClaimStatus_New.html. The following is the procedure to know the claim status: 

  1. Log on to http://www.epfindia.com/ClaimStatus_New.html
  2. Enter the establishment code
  3. Enter the extension if any
  4. Enter the employee number
  5. Click on search
  6. The EPF Mumbai claim status is displayed

to know the EPF Mumbai account balance log on to http://www.epfindia.com/MembBal.html which is the national portal of government of India. Following procedure needs to be completed to check the EPF Mumbai account balance:

  1. Select the EPF Office from where the claim needs to be settled in the EPF balance enquiry form
  2. Enter the establishment code
  3. Enter the extension establishment code if any in the next field
  4. Enter the employee number
  5. Elick on find balanceI
  6. If all the details are entered correctly, the result will display the EPF Mumbai account balance.
